What's includedWhat Our Gutter and Drainage Repair Includes
Every job starts with a full inspection of the drainage path and ends with a water test. The list below covers what we handle on a standard repair. Roof deck repairs, interior drywall, and full gutter replacement are separate scopes we quote only if the inspection shows they are needed.
01✓
Full Drainage Inspection
We walk the entire run with a ladder and safety harness, checking hanger spacing, pitch, seam condition, and downspout flow. Moisture meter readings on the fascia and infrared scans on interior ceilings confirm whether water has already reached the structure.
02✓
Debris Removal and Flush
Leaves, pine needles, shingle grit, and tennis balls come out by hand, then we flush the run and each downspout with a hose. If the underground drain is blocked, we snake it and confirm flow at the discharge point.
03✓
Re-Pitch and Re-Hang
Sagging runs get re-pitched to a minimum quarter-inch per ten feet and re-hung with new hangers spaced no more than 36 inches apart. That is the single biggest fix for standing water and overflow at the low end of the run.
04✓
Seam and Joint Sealing
Open seams, end caps, and outlet joints get cleaned, primed, and sealed with roof cement and gutter sealant rated for UV exposure. We do not caulk over wet or dirty metal, because that seal fails within one season.
05✓
Downspout Repair or Replacement
Crushed, separated, or corroded downspouts get repaired or replaced in matching material. We add extensions and splash blocks to move discharge 4 to 6 feet from the foundation, which is where most damp crawlspace problems start.
06✓
Final Water Test
We run water through the whole system and watch every joint and outlet. You see the flow at the discharge point, we point out what was fixed, and you get written notes on what to check before the next rainy season.
